These bills have passed both chambers of the Texas Legislature and are headed to the Governor:
 SB 12             Restricting sexually oriented performances (drag shows)     in the presence of minors.SB 14             Prohibiting the gender transition of minors.SB 15             Prohibiting biological males from competing in women’s collegiate athletics.SB 3               Property tax relief increasing homestead exemption 
On Senate Intent Calendar Today and should pass…last step before Governor:
 HB 17             Allows for removal of District or County Attorney for not prosecuting crimesHB 1181        Requires age verification to view sexually explicit materials on the internet or electronic devices. 
On House Floor Tomorrow…last step before the Governor SB 1070         Removes Texas from ERIC the interstate voter registration system

Need to be placed on the Senate Intent Calendar…last step before Governor
 
They must be placed on the Senate Intent Calendar and pass without amendments.  If amended, they will die in the House because we have run out of time. HB 900           Requiring book vendors to rate K-12 library books for sexual content and enforcement against book vendors.HB 6               Relating to Border Protection. Each Senator chooses 5 bills they want to move to the Intent calendar i.e. a Senate floor vote.  If you have a Republican Senator, call your Senator.  Senator Campbell’s number is 512-463-0125 and call Lt. Governor Patrick, his number is 512-463-0001.
 
I called and said,      “I live in Senate District 25.  I want to register my support for HB 900 and HB 6.  Please place them on the Intent Calendar and pass them without amendments.”

 SB 330           Grid Security passed Senate and House Committee call to register support 512-463-0814 to expedite to calendars.SB 1070         Removes Texas from ERIC interstate voter registration system for compromising data. SB 595           Requires parental consent prior to performing psych evaluations and surveys on K-12 students.SB 163           Requires parental consent prior to providing sex education to K-12 students. Call Calendars Chair Rep. Burrows at 512-463-0542 and ask that these bills be placed on House Calendar.
 
Call and say, “I want to register my support for SB 330, 1070, 595 & 163.  Please place them on the Calendar.”  They will ask for your name and zip.
