Our Take Back

Together we will be strong. Together we will rise.

Created with Sketch.

On August 17, 2022, at their monthly trustee meeting, the Lake Travis ISD Board of Trustees listened to public comments and unanimously approved an order calling a bond election for November 8, 2022.

Although the majority of public comments leaned towards postponing or opposing this
$703,000,000 BEHEMOTH.  The trustees are proceeding with their dreams and desire to make LTISD a “Destination School District”. Whatever that means?

Thank god the board doesn’t have the final say in this matter as they would spend our
tax dollars in a heartbeat. So much for electing fiscally conservative candidates!

As it should be, for or against…
We the People of LTISD will vote their
conscience at the polls in November!

If LTISD is good stewards of our tax dollars, then they should have no problem proving it.
Unlike the Federal Government, full accountability and transparency is required by
We the People at the the most important level, locally!

What is the (R.O.E.) Return On Education?
Is LTISD good stewards of our tax dollars?
Where do our LTISD students rank accademically?
Is it the right time to borrow?
Are our schools over crowded?
Does the current highschool baseball field need a
new 1,000 sq ft $900,000 concession stand?
No fuzzy math here, that’s $900 per sq ft!

If you believe this, we got a bridge we need to sell…

Our Mission

Our mission includes reclaiming our Legacy , reclaiming our History, reclaiming our Schools, reclaiming our Businesses, and reclaiming our Elections through the powers granted via the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

Constitution of the United States / Amendment 10
Rights Reserved to States or People

“The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”

We the People through our states created the federal government using the constitution and set its boundaries. If we are not going to enforce those boundaries then we are no longer the land of the free, we are no longer a republic.

The constitution holds the key. If congress can so badly misquote and so badly reference the constitution and get away with it, what are we doing?

Together it’s time for us to look our congressmen and women in the eyes and say no more.

We the People through our states created the federal government using the constitution and set its boundaries. If we are not going to enforce those boundaries then we are no longer the land of the free, we are no longer a republic.

We need our state, county and local representatives to understand the importance of not letting Washington D.C. steam roll them and stand up to abusive power and not allow the federal government to dictate how our local governments operate.

Paraphrasing, George Washington stated that “The sacred flames of liberty, our rights, are entrusted into our own hands.”

We the people need to look in the mirror and ask ourselves have we done our part?

When was the last time you attended a city council or county commissioners meeting? How about a school board meeting? For some it has been some time ago and for many, never.

Does this have anything to do with the “new normal”?

We the People…

The deliberations of the Constitutional Convention of 1787 were held in strict secrecy. Consequently, anxious citizens gathered outside Independence Hall to learn what had been produced behind closed doors. The answer was provided immediately.

A Mrs. Powel of Philadelphia asked Benjamin Franklin, “Well, Doctor, what have we got, a republic or a monarchy?” With no hesitation whatsoever, Franklin responded, “A republic, if you can keep it.”

Join us now. There is much to do.

In Flanders Fields
In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row

Scarce heard amid the guns below.
