LTRC Candidate Debate/Forum LTISD, LAKEWAY, BEE CAVE May 2nd Election

The Lake Travis Republican Club will host a Candidate Debate Forum on Monday, April 13, 2026, at Saltgrass Steak House in Bee Cave. This important community event will give voters an opportunity to hear directly from candidates running for local offices that impact the Lake Travis area.

The forum will feature all four candidates for the LTISD School Board, along with invited candidates from Bee Cave City Council, Lakeway City Council, and the Bee Cave Mayoral race.

The evening will begin with cocktails and networking at 6:30 PM, followed by the forum promptly at 7:00 PM. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to secure seating. Food and beverages will be available for individual purchase.

At the start of the forum, currently seated city council candidates will each be given two minutes to deliver an introductory statement. Following these introductions, a coin flip will determine whether the School Board candidates or the Bee Cave mayoral candidates begin the debate portion of the evening.

The debate will be moderated by an independent moderator from outside the LTISD community, and questions will not be disclosed to candidates in advance to ensure a fair and engaging discussion.
