Douglas Macgregor is a decorated combat veteran, the author of five books, a Ph.D., and a defense and foreign policy consultant. He was commissioned in the Regular Army in 1976 after one year at VMI and four years at West Point. In 2004, Macgregor retired with the rank of Colonel. In 2020, the President appointed Macgregor to serve as Senior Advisor to the Secretary of Defense, a post he held until President Trump left office. He holds an MA in comparative politics and a Ph.D. in international relations from the University of Virginia.
Recently a guest of Tucker Carlson, his insights and expertise were revealed on a wide range of topics i.e.(military readiness, border security, monetary and economic policies, etc.). He’s despised by many inside the DC beltway from the left and even some on the establishment right, which clearly indicates he is over the target as a pundit for truth, freedom, and individual liberties.
