This day gives the public a chance to interact with first responders on a level that does not involve an emergency situation and to learn about what they do and the tools and resources they use to keep you, your family, your pets and your property safe. Agencies from across Central Texas typically will bring their helicopters, police cars, motorcycles, ambulances, fire trucks, rescue boats, ATVs, K-9’s, horses, wildland fire mitigation equipment, incident command centers, SWAT apparatus, casualty tents and buses, and much, much more. There are also activities for the kids, along with live music. We hope you can join us! Hosted in the Parking lot at Lake Travis Elementary School.
