Brian Edward Harrison (R) represents Texas House District 10 — all of Ellis County — after winning a special election in October 2021. A native Texan and Texas A&M graduate, he previously served as Chief of Staff at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services during the Trump administration, where he helped coordinate the COVID‑19 response and oversaw significant regulatory reforms. Before that, he held key roles at the Department of Defense, Social Security Administration, and Vice President’s office under George W. Bush. At the state level, he champions limited government, individual liberty, and proactive oversight—fighting vaccine mandates, expanding school choice, and working diligently on appropriations and public education policies.
