Lord of Peace,
As we prepare for Christmas, we invite Your peace to fill our hearts and homes. In a world that often feels chaotic and uncertain, we are grateful for the promise of peace that comes through Jesus Christ.
Your Word reminds us: “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given… and he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace” ( Isaiah 9:6)
Lord, help us to experience that peace during this season. Quiet our hearts amid the noise of holiday preparations. Bring harmony to our relationships and calm to our minds. Teach us to let go of worries and rest in the assurance that You are in control.
We pray for peace in our communities and throughout the world. May this season of celebrating Jesus’ birth inspire unity, kindness, and reconciliation. For those who are hurting, lonely, or grieving, we ask that You wrap them in Your comforting presence.
Let this Christmas remind us that true peace is not found in circumstances but in You. Help us to carry that peace into the new year, trusting in Your goodness and faithfulness every step of the way.
In the name of Jesus, the Prince of Peace, we pray, Amen.
