Lago Liberty Days Celebration

July 3 - July 4

The City of Lago Vista proudly presents Lago Liberty Days 2026 — a two-day Independence Day celebration honoring America’s 250th birthday with this year’s theme: “250 Years Strong.”

Join us as we celebrate freedom, community, and small-town spirit with aviation, live entertainment, patriotic traditions, family fun, and fireworks over the North Shore.

Festivities begin on Friday, July 3, with the Aviation Showcase at Rusty Allen Airport from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, featuring aircraft displays.

The celebration continues Saturday, July 4, beginning with the Firecracker 5K & 10K at Heather Park. The 10K race begins at 7:45 AM, followed by the 5K at 8:00 AM. Runners, walkers, families, and patriotic costumes are all encouraged to join the fun.

At 10:00 AM, the annual 4th of July Parade will travel down Dawn Drive with this year’s parade theme: “250 Years of American Spirit.” Community groups, floats, golf carts, businesses, organizations, and residents are invited to participate in one of Lago Vista’s most beloved traditions.

The celebration wraps up Saturday evening at Bar-K Park, where gates open at 5:00 PM for an evening of music, food vendors, games, and family activities leading up to the community fireworks show at 9:00 PM.

Lago Liberty Days is hosted and produced by the City of Lago Vista to create an unforgettable Independence Day experience celebrating the heart of our community and the spirit of America.
