Throughout his time in both the Texas House and Senate\, he has consistently been recognized as one of the most conservative members of the Legislature. \nHe has been a strong advocate for border security\, law enforcement\, parental rights in education\, and limiting government overreach. As a State Senator\, he authored and passed key legislation including the Save Women’s Sports Act and one of the nation’s strongest bans on COVID vaccine mandates.
