SUMMARY:LTRC December 2025 Meeting
DESCRIPTION:https://www.laketravisrepublicanclubtx.com/event-details/ltrc-december-2025-meeting\n\nJoin the LTRC as we feature Abraham George\, Chairman of the Republican Party of Texas. Abraham’s remarkable story embodies the American dream—one built on faith\, perseverance\, and a deep love for this country.\n\nBorn on a small farm in India\, Abraham’s family spent fourteen years pursuing legal visas to the United States\, finally immigrating to Texas when he was 16. With limited English but a strong work ethic\, he began his journey as a janitor’s assistant and\, through determination\, became a National Sales Director by age 22. Along the way\, he proudly became an American citizen\, a milestone he deeply cherishes.\n\nMotivated by faith and love for liberty\, Abraham entered politics during Barack Obama’s 2007 campaign\, standing boldly against socialist policies and the idea that minorities must conform to one political narrative. Since then\, he has served as Vice Chairman of the Collin County Republican Party\, State Republican Executive Committeeman\, and Chairman of the Collin County GOP before being elected Chairman of the Republican Party of Texas.\n\nToday\, he continues to fight to close Texas primaries\, demand accountability from leadership\, and defeat Marxist Democrats who threaten our freedoms. Abraham George’s journey from immigrant to conservative leader is a powerful reminder of what’s possible through faith\, hard work\, and the enduring promise of America.

SUMMARY:America Fest 2025
DESCRIPTION:The Biggest Conservative Movement\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nin the Country\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTurning Point’s annual AmericaFest conference will be held December 18–21\, 2025\, at the Phoenix Convention Center. This year’s event will be unlike any other – a powerful celebration of faith\, freedom\, and the legacy of our founder\, Charlie Kirk. \nCharlie’s life was a testament to faith\, courage\, and conviction. From his earliest days\, he believed America was worth fighting for – and he dedicated every moment of his 31 years to that cause. Grounded in God’s truth and driven by a calling bigger than himself\, Charlie poured his life into others\, raising up a generation bold in faith\, steadfast in love of freedom\, and unafraid to defend this nation. \nWhat began as the vision of an 18-year-old in a small garage in Lemont\, Illinois\, grew into one of the most powerful grassroots movements in America. Through Turning Point\, Charlie ignited a fire in the hearts of millions. He showed us that truth must never be silenced\, that courage is contagious\, and that freedom must be protected at all costs. \nAt AmericaFest 2025\, we gather to honor Charlie’s legacy – to continue the mission he began and to celebrate the country he loved. Over four unforgettable days\, thousands of attendees will hear from the nation’s top leaders\, engage with over 100 partner organizations\, and experience world-class training designed to strengthen their leadership and activism. \nFollowing this one-of-a-kind event\, you will return to your campus or community more energized than ever – ready to carry Charlie’s torch and fight for America’s future. Though our hearts are heavy\, we do not grieve as those without hope. Charlie’s legacy endures in his family\, in Turning Point USA and Turning Point Action\, and in every person he inspired to live with conviction. \nThis December\, we will move forward together – fighting harder\, standing taller\, and refusing to surrender. \nWe can’t wait to see you in Phoenix for AmericaFest 2025: A Tribute to Charlie Kirk \n\n\n\n\nhttps://www.amfest.com/#register

Perla serves as a speaker\, and as a volunteer policy and parental rights advocate. She’s an Air Force veteran and continued to serve our country in the role of military spouse for over 20 years. In 2010 she was presented with the Inaugural major command AETC Key Spouse of the Year Award in San Antonio.\n\nSpeaker: Mark Goloby & Perla HopkinsMonday\, January 12thGrace Outreach Family Church\, 20808 #A Hwy 71 West Spicewood\, TX 786696:00pm – Prayer gathering (open to all)6:30-8:00pm – meetingNo dues. No fees. No memberships. No RSVPs\n\nAbout Mark Goloby:Mark V. Goloby was born where many great Texans are from\, Tennessee. Mark’s family moved to Houston when he was 3 and grew up close to the Astrodome. Mark graduated from Texas A&M in 1981 with a BBA in Accounting. Mark started working in Internal Audit for Dresser Industries then worked for GTE Mobilnet (now Verizon) Texas Region as a Controller. Mark founded TC Technologies and has been pioneering wireless remote monitoring\, data applications for over 25 years. He has delivered wireless solutions in a wide variety of applications from cathodic protection on pipelines to wireless mesh networks to monitor a wide variety of wellhead production\, measurement\, and processing equipment on the well pad.\nHe has been very active on a number of issues and served on numerous association boards. Within the oil and gas industry\, Mark orchestrated a fight of local control over oil and gas operations in several small East Texas cities. The result was a complete shutdown of the initiative and retraction from these cities trying to usurp the authority of the Texas Railroad Commission. Mark was instrumental in getting Texas Independent Producer and Royalty Owners (TIPRO) to participate in the Texas State Convention. This was the first time the oil and gas industry has ever attended a state political convention.\nMark was able to get the Texas Republican Party to adopt Repeal Chapter 313 of the Texas Tax Code into the 2018 Texas Republican Platform. A similar plank was put in the Democrat Platform. Mark championed ending the 313 abatements for over 5 years. This effort culminated in the Texas Senate allowing 313 to expire in this regular 87th Legislative Session. Mark has been Chairman of the East Texas Energy Symposium for 11 years. The symposium brings topics pertinent to the East Texas operator. The proceeds have raised over $200\,000 to support The East Texas Oil Museum. Mark has been a champion of property rights and is a member of Houston Property Rights Association. He has advocated for more eco-friendly use of property\, spearheading the conversion of the neighborhood flood detention facility into a Naturescape transforming a neighborhood blight into an amenity.\nMark is on the Board of Cherry Tree Republicans and is Treasurer of the Cherry Tree Republican PAC. He coordinated a direct effort of a text campaign for 10 candidates for the 1st and 14th court of appeals in the 9 surrounding counties of Harris County\, in which ALL 10 justices won.\nAbout Perla Hopkins:\n\nPerla Hopkins is an AMERICA TEXAS FIRST CONSERVATIVE PATRIOT running to be your next Texas Lieutenant Governor. Perla serves as a speaker\, and as a volunteer policy and parental rights advocate. She’s an Air Force veteran and continued to serve our country in the role of military spouse for over 20 years. In 2010 she was presented with the Inaugural major command AETC Key Spouse of the Year Award in San Antonio.\nPerla has been married to retired Major Bart Hopkins for 25 years and they have raised 3 adult children. She holds three master’s degrees in education and has taught around the world including Leander ISD\, Texas. In 2021 Perla was the first Texas Mom to be kicked-out of her own children’s school board meeting. Perla took off her teacher hat\, and through numerous other unconstitutional experiences\, she has had to collaborate with state and federal legislators and officials since 2019. She has fought tirelessly to address the fentanyl crisis\, border security\, elimination of property taxes\, medical freedom\, human trafficking\, the obscenity exemption found in penal code 43.24\, and the eradication of CRT/DEI\, to name a few measures. In 2022\, Perla ran against a democrat incumbent for the State Board of Education (SBOE) District 5. She was unsuccessful due to a limited 3 month campaign; however\, over 237\,000 Texans cast their vote for her\, trusting in her leadership and calls-to-action approach. Perla is a champion for Texas families! She’s ready to serve again and to restore faith\, accountability\, and transparency in the Texas Senate.

SUMMARY:Texas Rino Removal Project
DESCRIPTION:Texas has never waited quietly for someone else to defend her. From the Battle of Gonzales to the Alamo\, Texans have always answered challenges with one message: Come and Take It. \nOn January 31st\, we’re carrying that same fighting spirit into Austin with the official launch of the Texas RINO Removal Project – Lone Star Chapter. This movement is about reclaiming Texas’ political independence and restoring leadership with backbone\, integrity\, and real Texas grit. \nIf you’re ready to see Texas led by people with backbone instead of excuses\, this is where you plant your flag. \nSo\, dust off your boots\, bring your friends\, and stand shoulder-to-shoulder with Texans who still believe in liberty\, courage\, and accountability. This kickoff marks the first stand in a statewide effort to return Texas to the people who built it — and to protect it from anyone who forgot what this state stands for. \nThey can try to take Texas from the grassroots.\nBut like Texans before us\, we’re ready to stand our ground. \nTexas is rising — and the frontier starts here. 🌵🇺🇸 \nhttps://donorbox.org/events/847950/steps/choose_tickets

SUMMARY:True Texas Project Hill Country- "The Trillion Dollar Cost of College Cop-out"
DESCRIPTION:In this presentation we will hear from Scot Baker about the issues surrounding colleges\, their failure to equip students for the workforce\, and the resulting outcome of H1B visa holders taking high-paying jobs from Americans. Colleges are fake ecosystems propped up by predatory federal lending and shielded from real free-market consequences. They have inflicted massive damage on the country\, trapping young people in a bleak\, rigged future of debt\, delayed or denied family formation\, and limited economic mobility. Colleges are manufacturing both economic damage and political realignment with the “left”. \nReform is not optional — it is essential. Texas is the one state strong enough to lead the way.\nTexas can save the next generation from a lifetime of debt and disillusionment. Once we reform our colleges all others will follow. \nSpeaker: Scot Baker\nMonday\, February 9th\nGrace Outreach Family Church\, 20808 #A Hwy 71 West Spicewood\, TX 78669\n6:00pm – Prayer gathering (open to all)\n6:30-8:00pm – meeting\nNo dues. SUMMARY:LTRC March 2026 Meeting/Luncheon
DESCRIPTION:https://www.laketravisrepublicanclubtx.com/event-details/ltrc-march-2026-meeting \nThe Lake Travis Republican Club invites you to join us for our March Luncheon on Tuesday\, March 17\, featuring special guest Chairman Jim Wright of the Texas Railroad Commission. \nChairman Wright is a fifth-generation Texas rancher and lifelong South Texan who has spent decades working in the energy sector. Since his election to the Railroad Commission in 2020\, he has focused on maintaining a fair and consistent regulatory environment that supports innovation while protecting the long-term strength of Texas’ energy industry. \nDuring his time at the Commission\, Chairman Wright has championed solution-oriented leadership\, encouraging collaboration between regulators\, industry leaders\, and the public to ensure Texas remains a global energy powerhouse. He understands the vital role energy plays in the Texas economy and has emphasized the importance of expanding access to global markets while preparing for the future of energy production. \nChairman Wright has also worked to ensure the Commission is proactive in addressing emerging issues such as water and carbon management\, geothermal energy\, and hydrogen production and storage\, recognizing that the energy industry of tomorrow will look very different from today. \nBefore his service on the Railroad Commission\, Wright began working in the energy industry at just 19 years old\, eventually building a successful group of environmental management companies serving the sector. In addition to his professional career\, he spent more than two decades as a rodeo bull rider and remains a devoted family man\, living in Orange Grove with his wife\, Sherry\, and their five children. \nThis will be an engaging discussion about Texas energy policy\, economic growth\, and the future of the industry that powers our state. You won’t want to miss this opportunity to hear directly from one of Texas’ key energy leaders.
