SUMMARY:LTRC March 2026 Meeting/Luncheon
DESCRIPTION:https://www.laketravisrepublicanclubtx.com/event-details/ltrc-march-2026-meeting \nThe Lake Travis Republican Club invites you to join us for our March Luncheon on Tuesday\, March 17\, featuring special guest Chairman Jim Wright of the Texas Railroad Commission. \nChairman Wright is a fifth-generation Texas rancher and lifelong South Texan who has spent decades working in the energy sector. Since his election to the Railroad Commission in 2020\, he has focused on maintaining a fair and consistent regulatory environment that supports innovation while protecting the long-term strength of Texas’ energy industry. \nDuring his time at the Commission\, Chairman Wright has championed solution-oriented leadership\, encouraging collaboration between regulators\, industry leaders\, and the public to ensure Texas remains a global energy powerhouse. He understands the vital role energy plays in the Texas economy and has emphasized the importance of expanding access to global markets while preparing for the future of energy production. \nChairman Wright has also worked to ensure the Commission is proactive in addressing emerging issues such as water and carbon management\, geothermal energy\, and hydrogen production and storage\, recognizing that the energy industry of tomorrow will look very different from today. \nBefore his service on the Railroad Commission\, Wright began working in the energy industry at just 19 years old\, eventually building a successful group of environmental management companies serving the sector. In addition to his professional career\, he spent more than two decades as a rodeo bull rider and remains a devoted family man\, living in Orange Grove with his wife\, Sherry\, and their five children. \nThis will be an engaging discussion about Texas energy policy\, economic growth\, and the future of the industry that powers our state. You won’t want to miss this opportunity to hear directly from one of Texas’ key energy leaders.

SUMMARY:Lake Travis Republican Club April Meeting/Luncheon
DESCRIPTION:Join the Lake Travis Republican Club on Tuesday\, April 21st for our April Luncheon featuring Bo French\, candidate for Texas Railroad Commissioner. \nBo French is a lifelong Texan with deep roots in the Permian Basin and a family legacy in the oil and gas industry spanning more than 80 years. Raised in Midland and born in Fort Worth\, Bo was shaped by a strong work ethic\, entrepreneurial spirit\, and a commitment to keeping Texas energy strong. \nSince 1994\, Bo has been actively involved in the energy sector\, including a decade as an energy trader\, where he gained firsthand experience navigating complex markets and delivering results. As a rancher and mineral owner\, he understands both sides of the industry—balancing energy production with property rights and advocating for practical\, common-sense regulations. \nIn addition to his work in Texas\, Bo has operated security businesses in the Middle East\, providing protection for major energy companies in high-risk environments. His leadership under pressure reflects his ability to take on complex challenges and deliver real results. \nBo also served as Chairman of the Tarrant County Republican Party\, where he led major fundraising efforts and helped deliver key wins for Republicans. Known as a strong and outspoken conservative\, he has consistently taken bold stands on issues impacting Texas and the nation. \nNow running for Texas Railroad Commissioner\, Bo French is focused on ensuring Texas remains the energy leader of the world—protecting jobs\, strengthening our economy\, and standing firm against federal overreach. \nThis will be a powerful and engaging luncheon as we hear directly from a candidate committed to defending Texas values and securing our energy future.
