No RSVPs \nAbout Bob Hall:\nSenator Bob Hall\, father of four boys and husband to Kay Hall\, taught his family the importance of faith\, family and hard work. Senator Hall graduated from The Citadel in Charleston\, South Carolina with a degree in Electrical Engineering and received a Regular Commission as a 2nd Lieutenant in the US Air Force. While a cadet at the Citadel he received numerous awards for leadership. He was the only Air Force Cadet selected to be a Battalion Commander and was awarded the coveted Wade Hampton saber as the graduating cadet who had contributed the most to the Citadel during the four years he was a cadet\, and was listed in “Who’s Who In American Colleges” his Senior year. Upon graduation\, Bob began his active duty as a Systems Engineer working to develop the Minuteman Missile System during the Cold War at Norton AFB in California\, where he achieved the rank of Captain. \nAfter the Air Force he worked in the Aerospace industry as a systems engineer and business development manager. In 1982 he left the corporate world and began working as an independent proposal consultant to aerospace and defense corporations. Then in 1984 he formed his own company\, Professional Proposal Management\, Inc. \nA compelling sense of duty\, shaped by his military service\, business experience\, and love for this country\, drives him to leave behind the legacy of a patriotic servant for his children and grandchildren. Envisioning their futures compelled him to become actively involved in the state’s political process and strongly believes it is time to stand in the gap for our children\, our liberties and our future.

SUMMARY:LTISD Monthly School Board Meeting
DESCRIPTION:In January 2023\, We the People started a campaign to combat the sexually explicit books in the LTISD libraries.  We started reading pages from various books in all grade levels every month.  In response\, the Board undertook a revision process of its book policy and parents started a challenge process of select books. This month at the November meeting\, the book policy and a parent’s final grievance on 3 books were finally placed on the agenda. \nThe new book policy will be voted on next month.  Please review the old and new policy at the link below and comment to the Board at leadership@ltisdschools.org. Linked below pages 80-96. \nIn addition\, the parent at #9 of video presented to the entire Board.  Her presentation was flawless. DESCRIPTION:Nearly 18 million people will be honored at Veterans Day celebrations held Friday across the country and globe for a holiday that ties back to the end of World War I. \nThe date marks when Germany and the Allies signed a 1918 agreement to end war hostilities. Fighting ended on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month. At the time\, Nov. 11\, 1918 was known as the end of “the war to end all wars\,” according to U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. \nIn 1919\, President Wilson proclaimed Nov. 11 as the first commemoration of Armistice Day to celebrate and observe the end of hostilities with parades\, public meetings and a “brief suspension of business beginning.” \n“To us in America\, the reflections of Armistice Day will be filled with solemn pride in the heroism of those who died in the country’s service and with gratitude for the victory\,” Wilson declared. \n“Thank you for serving our country and protecting our freedoms.
