DESCRIPTION:Jeffrey B. Stamm spent over 40 years in law enforcement\, beginning as a Deputy Sheriff in Sacramento\, California before becoming a Special Agent with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration in 1984. During his 31-year career with DEA\, he served in a myriad of domestic and foreign assignments\, to include: San Jose\, California; Brasilia\, Brazil; Brownsville\, Texas; Islamabad\, Pakistan; Kabul\, Afghanistan; Dallas\, Texas; DEA Headquarters as the Deputy Chief of International Operations; and\, finally\,as the Special Agent in Charge of DEA’s global Aviation Division.\nFollowing his retirement from DEA in 2016\, he was appointed as the Executive Director of the Midwest High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) for the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) where he effectively coordinated drug control efforts with his local\, state and federal drug control counterparts across the heartland of America until 2022.
