SUMMARY:LTISD Monthly School Board Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Parents/Citizens- PLEASE STAND UP AGAINST THE FAKE BOOK BAN CAMPAIGN. COME SUPPORT INNOCENT CHILDREN\, SB TRUSTEES\, PARENTS AND CITIZENS TONIGHT!! \nIn December\, the first 3 LTISD book challenges made it to the fourth and final level at the school board meeting.  The parent had been denied relief at all levels within the district administration.  The administration and the parent made a presentation to the Board.  The Board granted the parents’ requested relief in a 5:2 vote with the two Democrat Trustees voting against the parent.  Those same Democrat Trustees MUST be defeated in May. \nAt this week’s school board meeting on Wednesday March 20th\, that same amazing and brave parent and the administration will make a presentation on 2 other books urging age-appropriate placement.  Media will be there. \nPlease attend to support our 5 conservative Trustees and the protection of children as they prayerfully vote with the parent.  We will be there\, join us at 6 pm at 607 RR 620 N\, Austin\, Texas \nUnfortunately the librarians are not willing to communicate with parents and citizens\, except to say we are book banners.
