DESCRIPTION:Protect LT Kids Campaign\nEven with an updated book review process\, sexually explicit and trans affirming books are being retained and reshelved into our schools. Find more information here https://wethepeoplelaketravis.com/protectltkids/ The District librarians argue to retain books to “challenge societal norms”. Is this what Government schools are supposed to be doing? Please join us in educating the public and communicating with the Trustees. Email leadership@ltisdschools.org and/or come to a Board meeting. Next month\, our elected school board will consider 3 challenged books\, as a part of the arduous book review process\, for the first time. TASB trained Counsel is discussing putting the challenges in closed executive session\, but We the People want to know how our elected Trustees vote on sexually graphic and trans-affirming books. Please pray for transparency. \nLTISD 2023 Bond\nPlease start talking to your neighbors about our November election.  Voter turnout will be very low.  There will be no candidate races on the ballot.  We must turnout and tell the District AGAIN to bring us a more fiscally responsible bond proposal.\nIf you would like to contribute to defeating the bond\, please donate at wethepeoplelaketravis..com Based on the survey results\, our big signs worked.
