DESCRIPTION:A FIGHT TO GET HUNDREDS OF SEXUALLY EXPLICIT BOOKS OUT OF LTISD LIBRARIES. \n \nParents need to stay engaged now more than ever. A new Book Review policy is in the works at LTISD. \nFebruarys Meeting was a success as more parents spoke out about their concerns for a book review system to rid our school district of Sexually explicit\, Trans Affirming\, and Political/Critical race theory books. \n“We The People” Believe the books should be pulled immediately but are dealing with the bureaucracy of our Public Schools. We will continue to raise our concerns and support our trustees in making brave decisions for the Children of LTISD. Our School Board Trustees can use their authority to do so… \nImportant highlights from Januarys meeting… \nPublic comment included 7 community members/parents who spoke on the sexually explicit and gender transitioning books in the libraries.
