DESCRIPTION:Please click on link and voice your concerns! https://www.regulations.gov/document/ED-2021-OCR-0166-0001 \nEXAMPLE… \n“As a concerned citizen\, I strongly oppose the Department’s proposed rule to redefine the definition of “sex” in Title IX. \nThis proposed rule forces young girls to share intimate spaces with biological males. \nThis proposed rule forces girls to give up their educational opportunities to males who perform better than they do. \nThis proposed rule tells young girls they likely must allow biological males to take their spots on their sports podiums. \nAnd this proposed rule tells girls that their objections and concerns with these policies will be silenced and ignored. \nI am also very concerned that this rule may be used by the Department to further their political interests by promoting LGBT curriculum in public schools across the country. As students are still recovering from the aftermath of the pandemic and are falling behind in basic academics\, the last thing they should face in their schools is sexualized curriculum that serves a particular political agenda. \nAmerica’s girls deserve better. I urge you to rescind this rule.”

DESCRIPTION:This month at True Texas Project we are ramping up for next year’s 88th Legislative Session. At our first meeting we have invited Texas Scorecard’s publisher\, Michael Quinn Sullivan\, to help us in navigating the sometimes overwhelming task of preparing for this process. Join us as we take a look at the Republican Party of Texas’ platform and planks\, elected representatives to support and/or watch out for\, and finally\, the bills being put forward that we need to be aware of. This will be extremely insightful and we are sure that you’ll leave feeling not only inspired\, but prepared for what is to come.\nWe will also be hearing from Kelly Neidert\, the founder of a new organization called Protect Texas Kids. \n  \nAbout Michael Quinn Sullivan: \nA graduate of Texas A&M\, former newspaper reporter\, one-time Capitol Hill staffer\, think tank vice president\, and an Eagle Scout\, Michael Quinn Sullivan and his wife have three children. He is the publisher of Texas Scorecard. Check out his podcast\, “Reflections on Life and Liberty.” \n  \n  \n  \n  \nAbout Kelly Neidert: \nKelly Neidert is a recent graduate of the University of North Texas who led her school’s chapter of the Young Conservatives of Texas. While at UNT\, she gained national media attention for the backlash that she faced being openly conservative on her college campus. On many occasions\, she had to be evacuated from campus by police due to the presence of antifa and even had her apartment door spray painted because of her viewpoints. \nSince graduating college\, Kelly has started a nonprofit organization called “Protect Texas Kids” that seeks to protect K-12 children from the leftist indoctrination being forced on them from every direction. PTK is very involved with the education side of things\, helping to expose the CRT\, gender theory\, and sexually explicit books being pushed on kids in the state of Texas. Since starting the organization at the end of April\, Protect Texas Kids has also led several protests against children’s drag events and has even been mentioned on Tucker.
